Why?
Traveling is the fuel and inspiration of my life and my ultimate obsession. I travel more than 5 times a year because I love exploring and experiencing different types of environment, culture, and lifestyle. Ever since I discover Airbnb, I book all my accommodation through it. It doesn't just integrate me right into the local's lifestyle but also provide me the most authentic experiences that I can hope for.
When I plan a trip: 1) book a flight, 2) look up things to do and experiences I want to have, 3) find accommodations close to the attractions.
Problem
It is always frustrating that I have to pin all my interested destinations on google map then remember the general area that I should stay then jump to Airbnb to find a good accommodation on Airbnb's map. This process cost me lots of wasted time jumping back and forth between sites. So, I wondered if there's a solution to solve this problem.
Solution
Step1 : Enter Preference
Guests enter the type of experience or activities they like or want to have throughout their stay
Step 2 : See Recommended Destinations
Airbnb pins all the recommended destinations so in one step, guest are informed with activities/ destinations to go and the best place to stay.
Step 3 : Learn More
Guest can click on each pin for more information on the destinations.
The recommendations are provided by the local hosts which were to be found in host’s individual listings.
These recommendations helps all guests to find their perfect listings and also give hosts more exposure.
Step 4 : See Recommended Destinations
The pinned point of interests are listed with:
Distance from the accommodation
Average rating of the destination by the local hosts
